Marilyn Manson loses deals amid abuse charges

SSinger Marilyn Manson has rubbished abuse allegations made by his former fiancee, actor Evan Rachel Wood, even as his music label cancelled contract and he lost out on a horror series deal. On Monday, the actress had claimed on Instagram that Manson “horrifically abused” her for years when they were in a relationship. Soon af ter the allegations, the heavy metal-rock singer denied the claims. “Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality,” Manson wrote in a statement on Instagram. “My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how - and why - others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth,” Manson added. —IANS
