Warn domestic celebs, too

Ref.: ‘When pop went Rihanna, did we go over the top?’ (February 4). Responding to tweets from some international celebrities on the farmers' movement, the MEA said that comments using hashtags to create a sensation on social media are an easy way to gain popularity. But even in India, there are some celebrities making irresponsible statements on social media. And it is equally true that they are also doing it for the publicity – take for instance, Kangana Ranaut's irresponsible statements on social media. The same rule must apply to domestic celebrities too, why should an exception be made for them?
