Disqualify MP Vijay Baghel: Congress

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh state Congress on Thursday demanded cancellation of Lok Sabha membership of Vijay Baghel and initiated legal action to prohibit him from fighting any election in future. Addressing the media jointly held by PCC vice president Girish Dewangan, Communication Department Head Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Communication department member RP Singh, and spokesperson Vikash Tiwari, the party alleged that Baghel obtained agriculture income that is more than shown in his election affidavit -- the amount received from paddy sale. He should be disqualified for cheating the Election Commission and nation, they demanded.
