UT Administration carries out Encroachment Removal Drive

The Revenue Department has carried out the Encroachment Removal Drive along with the Public Works Department to remove encroachments carried out on the Canal Network since last few months and in this drive till the date approximately 5 kms in Bhimpore, 8.3 kms in Kachigam and 1.5 kms in Dabhel have been made encroachment free. Illgegal constructions carried out by Industries i.e. Wellknown Poyster etc. and individuals at village Dabhel have been demolished by the District Administration. Encroachments were removed from the 7 Sy. Nos. by the Team Headed by the Assistant Engineer, PWD, Daman Under the direction and guidance of the Collector, Daman and Dy. Collector (HQ), Daman. Remaining illegal Structures constructed on Canal will also be removed by the Administration as the regular drive.
