Fitch expects RJio, Bharti Airtel to grow on higher tariff, 4G users

The operating per formance of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd and Bharti Airtel Ltd is likely to grow on the back of higher tariffs, user migration to 4G and high monthly data usage, Fitch Ratings said in a report. The telecom industr y's mobile segment earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization is likely to rise by at least 40% in 2020-21 (AprMar) against 25% growth in 2019-20, the rating agency said.
