Mumbai’s local train services have resumed operations for all, with restricted time slots and Covid-19 restrictio­ns like social distancing and maskwearin­g have gone for a toss. The precaution­ary measures are not being strictly followed either at the platform ticket counters or on platforms. Many commuters seem to be under the impression that the worst is past them. Medical experts are saying that the next fortnight will be crucial in ascertaini­ng whether the local trains are becoming supersprea­ders of the virus.
