Mumbai’s local train services have resumed operations for all, with restricted time slots and Covid-19 restrictions like social distancing and maskwearing have gone for a toss. The precautionary measures are not being strictly followed either at the platform ticket counters or on platforms. Many commuters seem to be under the impression that the worst is past them. Medical experts are saying that the next fortnight will be crucial in ascertaining whether the local trains are becoming superspreaders of the virus.
