Maiden CRPF women commandos’ team inducted into elite CoBRA unit
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has for the first time inducted 34 of its women commandos into its anti-Maoist CoBRA unit on Saturday at a function here. The women commandos of the elite CoBRA unit will be deployed in anti-Maoist operations in the country soon.
The function was held at the forces' camp in Kadarpur village. "They will undergo a pre-induction training for three months and subsequently will be embedded with CoBRA units deployed in Maoist-hit districts of Chhattisgarh including Sukma, Dantewada and Bijapur," CRPF spokesperson said.
