Hockey contest back in city

Nineteen team will vei for honours as the action on hockey turf is said to unfold, with the Winter Rink Hockey Tournament, at the St. Dominic Savio, Andheri East hockey Turf on February 12.

Thirteen teams in the boys and six in the girls will be seen in action in this two-day championship which has been approved by Hockey India, as hockey resumes in the city after covid-19. This championship is under-14 & 16 for boys and girls, besides the men and the women teams

Teams (Men): Bombay Republican, India Rush, UK United, WR, CR, Union Bank, Savio Sports Club, Income Tax, Ave Maria, Mansi Foundation, United Bandra (yet to confirm), Sea View and Mumbai Custom

Women: Bombay Republican, WR, CR, BSF Bhillai, India Rush, SAI Women.
