SJVN joins International Solar Alliance

Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director,SJV N presented a cheque of Rs.7.4 crore to Upendra Tripathy, Director General, International Solar Alliance (ISA) in the august presence of R. K. Singh, Minister of Power & New and Renewable Sources (I/C) to join as Corporate - Member of International Solar Alliance (ISA). On this occasion S.P Bansal, Director (Civil) and A.K. Singh, Director (Finance), SJVN were also present. On this occasion Nand Lal Sharma apprised that, this prestigious membership will provide SJVN a global platform to garner cooperation amongst member countries to enhance the use of Solar Energy in a safe, convenient, affordable, equitable and sustainable manner. He further said that, our Prime Minister recently called for connecting Solar Energy supply across borders, with the mantra of ‘One Sun, One World, One Grid’ (OSOWOG). ISA is the only International body with exclusive focus on Solar Energy.
