Teacher booked for molesting girl student gets bail

A special court under the POCSO Act granted bail to a 28-year-old man, a tuition teacher, who is booked for inappropriately touching a 16-year-old girl who used to come to his residence for classes. Special Judge Priti Kumar (Ghule) said in her order that it is seen the applicant has no criminal antecedents and he has been giving tuitions to many children for Class X and that there were no such complaints against him earlier. The court also noted that he has a permanent place of residence and will be available and therefore there is no necessity to keep him in jail pending trial which will take time.
