Star Cement posts consolidated net loss of Rs 1.7 crore vs PAT year ago

Star Cement Ltd slipped into the red in the December quarter, posting a consolidated net loss of 17.48 mln rupees as against a net profit of 712.17 mln rupees a year ago, and a profit of 602.73 mln rupees in Jul-Sep. Revenue from operations for the quarter fell 6.1% to Rs 4.23 bn, but rose 5.4% sequentially.
