Yogi: PM will open Poorvanchal Eway in April
The Poorvanchal Expressway, the dream project of Yogi government, will be inaugurated by PM Modi in April. Significantly, the PM had laid the foundation for the 340 kms long Lucknow to Ghazipur Poorvanchal Expressway on July 14, 2018.
After reviewing the project costing Rs22,494 crore on Monday in Ghazipur and 3 other places, CM Yogi Adityanath expressed satisfaction and directed Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) officials to complete it by March 31. “The Poorvanchal Expressway will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in April for public,” he announced after reviewing the progress of the E-way. The CM said it will be further extended to 8-lane by October-November.
