Vodafone Idea Ltd has achieved highest voice quality in the industry for the third month in a row in January, as per data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority on its call quality portal ' MyCall'.

Data on the portal is based on usage of the MyCall application by mobile users across

India, which is collected through feedback provided on the application.

According to the portal, Idea received an average rating of 4.8 for indoor and outdoor call quality, based on a scale of 1 to 5 in January. However, the satisfactory rating fell marginally to 95.08% in the month from a 95.95% satisfactory rating in the previous month.

Further, Vodafone retained its second spot on the TRAI charts with an average 4.2 voice quality rating and 86.29% satisfactory rating in January.

Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have a subscriber base of 408 mln and 335 mln, respectively.

However, in terms of call quality, both Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio achieved an average rating of 3.9.

The satisfactory rating of Bharti Airtel was at 79.37%, while that of Reliance Jio stood at 76.92%.
