No change in UPSC exam to those age barred, SC told

- OUR BUREAU / New Delhi

The Centre on Tuesday told the Supreme Court that those age-barred won't get any chance in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil service exam as it would be otherwise discriminatory to other candidates. The Apex Court reserved the verdict. Additional solicitor general S V Raju, appearing for the Centre, said that it is against granting one-time relaxation on the age limit, including to those who had exhausted their last attempt in 2020 exam amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
