Additional security deposit not compulsory for contractors

MUMBAI: The Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has stated that paying security deposit is not compulsory for each and ever y contractor who takes part in bidding. The municipal body, on Wednesday, issued a statement stating only the shortlisted candidates that receive a letter of acceptance of contract from the BMC will have to pay the security deposit within 15 days from the date of letter received. -
