Jail stint doesn’t count?

Ref: ‘Sasikala back in Chennai' (February 9). The red-carpet welcome for VK Sasikala on her return from jail shows that Indian politicians are a 'privileged class'. Though she has spent four years in jail in a disproportionate assets case, her supporters are paving the way for her political entry!
