Ashwin stood tall

Team India lost the first test of the series with England at Chennai. We failed to appreciate the Englishmen’s determination to win. R Ashwin, who was given stepmotherly treatment by Kohli, proved a star performer. He faced 135 balls in this test match, outdone only by Pujara, W Sundar and Virat Kohli and also took nine of the 20 wickets in this match.
