JOINT STAND ON BORDER SOUGHT Nehru deplores "no talk with China" attitude

NEW DELHI, JAN. 20: Prime Minister Nehru is understood to have deprecated the "no talk ith China" attitude adopted by some and said such a view was 'uncivilised'.
Addressing the Congress Parliamentar y Party meeting today, he is also stated to have called for a united stand in dealing with the Sino-Indian boundary issue and other foreign policy matters. Shri Nehru is understood to have stressed that one should not think only of the present, but the future as well. "We should present a united stand with dignity and grace in regard to these proposals," he is reported to have argued.
