Hardikar appointed inspector general of registration and controller of stamp

In a bureaucratic reshuffle, the Maharashtra government, on Friday, removed Omprakash Deshmukh as the inspector general of registration and stamp and appointed Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar for the post.

The government has transferred the Settlement Commissioner and Director Land Records SS Chockalingam as the director of YASHADA, which caters to the research and training needs of the state and union government departments, and appointed NK Sudhanshu for the post after he returns to the state from the central deputation.

The government has appointed Rajesh Patil of an Odisha cadre as the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner. Sheetal Ugle-Teli has been posted as the director textile at Nagpur. Prerana Deshbhratar has been posted as the commissioner of disability affairs, Pune. Anita Patil has been appointed as the member secretary of the state Women Commission.
