NBCC Q3 profit surge 75% to Rs 97 crore

Navratna Public Sector Enterprise NBCC (India) Ltd., under the Ministr y of Housing and Urban Affairs ( MoHUA) on Wednesday reported a 75 per cent increase in its consolidat­ed net profit to Rs 96.98 crore for the third quarter ended December 2020. Its net profit was Rs 55.54 crore in the year-ago period. For the quarter ended December 31, 2020, the company has reported a standalone net profit of Rs. 82 crore as against net profit of Rs. 35 crore during the correspond­ing quarter of the previous fiscal, representi­ng a robust growth of 134%. The total standalone income for Q3FY21 stood at Rs. 1554 crore as compared to Rs. 1305 crore in Q3FY20, registerin­g an increase of 19%. The total income rose to Rs 2,149.17 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal from Rs 1,979.36 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulator y filing.

Pakistan's limited-overs tour to South Africa in April will include an extra Twenty20 game. The tour now comprises four T20s and three one-day internatio­nals, starting with the first ODI at Pretoria on April 2. The second ODI is at Johannesbu­rg on April 4, followed by the third game at Pretoria on April 7. The ODI series is part of the ICC's Cricket World Cup Super League.
