NBCC Q3 profit surge 75% to Rs 97 crore

Navratna Public Sector Enterprise NBCC (India) Ltd., under the Ministr y of Housing and Urban Affairs ( MoHUA) on Wednesday reported a 75 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 96.98 crore for the third quarter ended December 2020. Its net profit was Rs 55.54 crore in the year-ago period. For the quarter ended December 31, 2020, the company has reported a standalone net profit of Rs. 82 crore as against net profit of Rs. 35 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, representing a robust growth of 134%. The total standalone income for Q3FY21 stood at Rs. 1554 crore as compared to Rs. 1305 crore in Q3FY20, registering an increase of 19%. The total income rose to Rs 2,149.17 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal from Rs 1,979.36 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulator y filing.

Pakistan's limited-overs tour to South Africa in April will include an extra Twenty20 game. The tour now comprises four T20s and three one-day internationals, starting with the first ODI at Pretoria on April 2. The second ODI is at Johannesburg on April 4, followed by the third game at Pretoria on April 7. The ODI series is part of the ICC's Cricket World Cup Super League.
