Kalpataru Power Oct-Dec net profit rises 88% on year to Rs 260 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd's net profit for the December quarter surged 87.6% on year to 2.57 bln rupees. Revenue from operations for the quarter rose 0.7% to 19.93 bln rupees. Sequentially, the net profit rose 61.6% and revenue was up 5.9%. The net profit topped analysts' estimate of 1.46 bln rupees, while revenue missed expectations.
