Actor Hiraan defects to BJP

Another Bengali actor, Hiraan Chatterjee, joined the BJP at a public rally of Amit Shah. Soon after defecting to the saffron camp, the actor said that the defection was necessary to bring "positive change in West Bengal". This development comes a day after noted actor Yash Dasgupta joined the BJP.
