Gujarat Ind October-December net profit falls 35% on year, sales fall 6%

Gujarat Industries Power Co Ltd's net profit for the December quarter declined 34.8% on year to 319.23 mln rupees. Revenue from operations for the quarter fell 5.6% to 3.31 bln rupees. Sequentially, the net profit fell 32% and revenue fell 1.6%. The company's other income fell to 81.11 mln rupees from 88.99 mln rupees year ago.
