Govt plans to invite bids for green hydrogen projects in 3-4 months

In a drive to push clean energy in the countr y, the government plans to invite bids for green hydrogen projects in three-four months, Union Power Minister R.K. Singh said. "We have already had discussions with the relevant ministries--Ministr y of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ministr y of Steel and Ministr y of Chemicals and Fertilisers," he said. A proposal had been made to the petroleum and steel ministries to replace 10% consumption of total hydrogen with green hydrogen.
