Ashok Leyland starts production at new bus facility in Andhra Pradesh

Ashok Leyland Ltd today said it had started commercial production of buses at its new facility in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Once completed, the 75-acre plant will be able to produce 4,800 buses a year, and will also have a learning centre and an advanced service training centre. The company had earlier said the plant would be capable of manufacturing buses across all models under the Ashok Leyland brand.
