Fake Ayodhya Trust portal: 2 booked

LUCKNOW: The Ayodhya Police booked 2 persons for running a fake website similar to Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to collect donations for Ram temple fraudulently. The police booked Tejveer Singh and Gaurav Kumar on a complaint by trustee Dr Anil Mishra late on Thursday night. The accused had copied Trust’s original website and content to collect donations online. The complaint stated they had changed the QR Code and bank account details. On scanning the QR Code it showed the name of Tejveer Singh and bank account of Gaurav Kumar, he added. Ayodhya circle officer Rajesh Rai said a case under IPC Secs 420, 419, 66C and 66D was and police teams formed to arrest them.
