Batra to contest upcoming FIH elections

NEW DELHI: International Hockey Federation (FIH) and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President Narinder Dhruv Batra has confirmed his availability for the upcoming elections of the governing body of hockey. FIH will hold the election in May 2021 and Batra will contest for a second term. Batra wrote a letter to confirm his availability. "I herewith have the honour and the pleasure to announce my candidacy to continue to be your President beyond the upcoming Congress, should you wish me to do so," he said.
