Shor Police
WHAT: Shor Police— Comprising the incredibly multi-faceted composerproducer-arranger Clinton Cerejo and the powerhouse vocals of Bianca Gomes—will reinterpret the works of contemporary blues-pop legend John Mayer in the upcoming edition of Paytm Insider ’s Jim Beam Originals. It’s not surprising then that the duo decided on multiple Grammy-winning John Mayer ’s marvellous discography. Shor Police and Mayer are also connected by their Berklee College of Music, Boston, association. Whereas Mayer is a Berklee dropout, Clinton was the first contemporary composer from India to conduct master classes and residencies at the prestigious college in both their Boston and Valencia campuses.

ANTIGONE
WHAT: Antigone is a tragedy written by Sophocles and is a play about the af termath of a civil war in which the two sons of Oedipus, Eteocles and Polyneices Kill each other, where the new king and their successor, Creon, tries to punish Polyneices for his disloyalty by not burying him properly. The daughter of Oedipus and Jocasta, Antigone pits her beliefs against the King of Thebes in a bloody test of wills that leaves few unharmed. Antigone raises issues of law and morality that are just as relevant today as they were more than two thousand years ago.

Virtual Trailwalker Challenge by Oxfam India
WHAT: Oxfam Trailwalker is back this year with a virtual trailwalker challenge. Participants will walk for 100km/50kms/25kms in 10 days complying with the social distancing rules. An e-certificate will be provided to the participant by the end of completing the challenge. This year ’s theme for the walkathon is #WalkForHer, “Walk to end all discrimination against women.”

WHAT: Calling all you craf t beer lovers! Join Great State Aleworks for their first Tap Takeover this year at Terra, an openair roof top in Bandra. Great State Aleworks is a Pune-based craf t brewery focused on modern and experimental ales using local ingredients, with an emphasis on juicy IPAs, tangy sours and millet ales. Bringing you a variety of beers over a fun Sunday brunch easing into a sundowner with great music, tapas, and a live BBQ. Look out for a new beer launch at this Tap Takeover.

Bandcamp Weekends: Live Bands + Movie Under The Stars
WHAT: BandCamp Season 7 is on! Now enjoy the camping experience ever y weekend until April’ 2021! BandCamp Weekends takes you out of the city hustle on Friday & Saturday nights, helping you experience great live band per formances and reconnect with cinema in the middle of nature. You can expect the movies to come from a mix of world cinema, classics and crowd favourites. The live band per formance before the movie screening will be indie, blues, retro music and so on! There will also be bonfires, a barbeque, sunset walks, and some great food! The campsite has large grounds and they have added hammocks, books, and games to ensure that there is something for ever yone.
