Metro Man can show the way

‘Metro Man’ E Sreedharan has now decided to take the political plunge. However, considering his advanced age, rather than in the electoral arena, his talent will be more useful to the BJP if he is made a member of the Margadar-shak Mandal; to guide and steer the giant ship called the BJP in the direction envisaged by the founders of its earlier avatar, the Bhara-tiya Jan Sangh. Another exception to this 75+ rule is likely to be made by the saffron party in 2024 and onwards.
