was declared the winner of BiggBossseason14 on Sunday. The actor who stayed over 140 days in the Bigg Boss house was competing with popular singer Rahul Vaidya for the title. Rubina who enjoys a huge fan base and is a popular household name having essayed lead roles in shows such as Shakti:AstitvaKeEhsaasKi and ChottiBahu, took home the Bigg Boss trophy plus a cash prize of Rs 36 lakh. Rahul was announced as the first runner up of season 14 of the popular reality show, followed by Nikki Tamboli who became the second runner up
The mother of all reality shows, Bigg Boss yet again proved that it’s the best show when it comes to delivering a tod-fod’ and masala entertainment. Sunday marked the dhamakedar grand finale of Bigg Boss season 14, with Salman Khan helming the ceremony.
Veteran actor Dharmendra graced the show and performed a scene from his 1985 blockbuster hit, Sholay along with Salman Khan and Rakhi Sawant. Dancer-actor Nora Fatehi danced on popular dance numbers. Salman and Nora together did the Garmi step on stage, which was one of the funniest moments of the show. Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene, who will soon be seen in her new reality show, Dance Deewane3 spoke about the five finalists of BiggBoss, Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya, Rakhi Sawant, Nikki Tamboli and Aly Goni in her iconic andaaz.
Also present at the grand finale were the evicted contestants of the Bigg Boss season 14 like Jasmine Bhasin, Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khan, Pavitra Punia, Arshi Khan, Sonali Phogat, Rahul Mahajan and others.
Besides Dilaik and Vaidya, the other three finalists of the show were actors Nikki Tamboli, Aly Goni and Rakhi Sawant. Tamboli, who re-entered the show after being evicted, was the second runner-up, followed by Goni who stood fourth. Sawant, who was one of the biggest entertainers in the Bigg Boss house, was the first to leave during the finale as she took Rs 14 lakh prize money that was up for grabs by the five finalists. –C J Desk/ IANS
