QUESTION GOVTS ON ISSUES PARAMOUNT TO PEOPLE: RG

-

NEW DELHI: Rahul has given a clarion call to people of India to question the governments of the day, whether in states or at the Centre, on issues paramount to them and to ignore the super - ficial "Toolkits" stor y being sold by the BJP day in and day out. Elaborating on his call, Congress chief spokesman and general secretar y Randeep Surjewala stressed the urgency to focus on the serious issues in the countr y instead of the way the BJP is insulting India by dividing it on the issues of north and south. Hitting back at UP CM Yogi Adityanath for creating a northsouth row during his visit to Kerala, Rahul wanted people not to get trapped in the divisive politics. Adityanath on Wednesday asserted that it was Rahul who was playing divisive politics by making fun of the people of UP in Kerala. Surjewala said Rahul has laid stress on the issue-based politics instead of politics on issues. He said Rahul wanted a religion of politics instead of politics of religion, politics of uniting all instead of appeasement, regretting that even in this the BJP issued its own "toolkit" to divide north and south.
