BMC keeps century old tram for public display

MUMBAI: On Thursday morning, Mayor Kishori Pednekar inaugurated a 150-y-old British Era tram that has been kept for public display at Bhatia Baug, outside Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT).

In a statement the BMC stated that the tram was procured from the Calcutta Tramways Company (CTC) back in the 1990s af ter which it was kept at the Anik Depot. -
