Two-wheeler dealers face high inventory on poor February sales

Dealers of two-wheelers have been saddled with high inventor y levels because of lower year-on-year retail sales in Februar y amid farmers' protests, high petrol prices and lower number of auspicious dates for marriages, JM Financial Institutional Securities said in a report. Dealers of Hero MotoCorp Ltd have the highest inventor y--in a range of 35-55 days--followed by those of Bajaj Auto Ltd at 35-45 days, and dealers of TVS Motor Co Ltd have unsold inventor y of over a month, JM Financial said.
