FICCI charges Govt: Mass enthusiasm not fully used to face enemy

NEW DELHI, FEB. 1 (PTI) -- The Federation of the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry has appealed to the government to gear the administration to a sense of urgency and revise its economic and other policies so that production can be stepped up to meet the Chinese aggression.

Af ter reviewing the economic situation in the countr y "in terms of preparedness and preparations to meet the Chinese aggression and our struggle with China", the Committee of the Federation said that it could not help feeling that for some reason or other, neither the enthusiasm of the people nor the opportunities which the challenge had presented had been as urgently and fully utilised as ought to have been done.
