This was only the 22nd Two-Day Finish in 2412 Tests. The last Test to finish within two days was the one between India and Afghanistan in Bangalore in 2018. This was also only the second game involving India to finish inside two days. The total balls bowled in the match – 842 – was the 7th lowest in the history of the game. It was the shortest in terms of balls bowled since 1912, and the shortest ever in India.
