Three men & minor arrested for killing transgender in Goregaon

MUMBAI: Two days af ter a transgender was brutally killed in Goregaon (W), the Bangur Nagar Police arrested three men and detained a minor involved in the killing. The police said that personal grudge seems to be the motive for murder and not robber y, as was earlier suspected. All of the accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for murder, common intention. According to police, Suresh Mastud alias Sur ya (38), a transgender was murdered by unidentified persons in Goregaon on Wednesday af ternoon. Preliminar y investigation revealed that Sur ya was involved in a series of illegal activities like collection of money and developed a number of enemies. -
