4 held in attempted gangrape-murder

SRAWAN SHUKLA / LUCKNOW: The Shahjahanpur police arrested 4 accused, including a girl student, in an attempt to gangrape-murder case after the victim recorded her statement before the magistrate. The victim told the magistrate her classmate had sent her to a mango orchard where 3 boys were waiting. When she reached there, they tried to rape her. When failed, they poured kerosene on her and lit a match box to burn her alive. On the basis of her statement, the police had arrested the accused, including her classmate. All the 4 accused were produced before the court which sent them to jail on Friday.
