RERA freezes Bihar builder’s all bank accounts

All bank accounts of promoters of the several fancy housing projects in Patna have been frozen following orders of the Real Estates Regulatory Authority (RERA).

RERA passed an order Saturday directing the manager of a private bank in Anisabad here to freeze all accounts of the Palvi Raj constructions Limited and its owners with immediate effect.

Registration of Companies has been requested by RERA to provide details of the promoters company so that "authority may take necessary action against the respondent company".

District and sub registrars of revenue department at Patna, Phulwarisharif, Danapur, Bihta have been directed not to register any apartment, plot of project under Goa City, Mumbai Residency, Bollywood Residency till further orders. These projects have been advertised by the Palvi Raj constructions which has been declared illegal and unauthorised by RERA.
