CAIT plans nationwide stir over GST
Days af ter a traders' strike under its aegis, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on Sunday said that it will launch a national movement against the 'arbitrariness' of GST provisions and alleged malpractices of e-commerce giants.
In a statement, the traders' body said that in the next phase of the campaign against GST provisions and ecommerce majors, states would be the key focus of the protesting traders.
The campaign will begin on March 5 and will continue till April 5.
It said that at present, traders across the countr y are badly plagued by the provisions of GST and the constant arbitrariness of foreign companies in ecommerce and now the traders are either forced to resolve these issues or shut their business.
