Maritime India Summit to be held on March 2-4, PM Modi to inaugurate

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second Edition of the Maritime India Summit 2021 (MIS 2021), a virtual three-day event, being organised by the Ministr y of Shipping Ports and Waterways on March 2-4, 2021. A session on 'Opportunities in Maritime Financing and Insurance' would be held on March 3, and convened by H K Joshi, C&MD, SCI, and SDCL and NMPT. The session will highlight the high investment potential of the Indian Maritime Sector, in line with the government’s Maritime Vision 2030 and would cover the key trends and developments in Maritime Banking & Financial Services, financing of ports, port terminal & portbased industries.
