Power consumption rises merely 1% in Feb on early onset of summer
Due to the early onset of summer, domestic power consumption rose merely 1% on year in February to 104.73 bln units. In the year-ago period, energy consumption stood at 103.81 bln units. Due to an early onset of summers, the use of most of the winter-based electrical appliances stopped, which likely led to a tepid rise in power consumption. However, the peak power demand met, which is the highest supply in a day, recorded a growth of 6.7% at 188.15 GW.
