Tata Power, Tata Steel to develop 15 MW solar project in Jharkhand

Tata Power Co Ltd's wholly-owned subsidiar y TP Saur ya Ltd has signed a power purchase agreement with Tata Steel Ltd to develop a 15 MW solar project at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The energy will be supplied to Tata Steel under a power purchase agreement which will be valid for 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date. The project is required to be commissioned within six months from the date of execution of the power purchase agreement, Tata Power said.
