Japanese student steals chair of police
BENGALURU: A Japanese student has put the Bengaluru police in a fix by stealing a plastic chair from a police station so that he can be arrested, tried and packed off to jail. Hirotoshi Tanaka, 31, not only stole the chair from the office of an assistant commissioner of police (ACP), but he also took selfies of his ‘crime’ and took the stolen chair to his home from where he posted another selfie. His prime intention was to expose the police as the authorities had asked him to leave the country on Feb 28 – something he did not want to do.
