Hockey stalwarts succumb to Covid

NEW DELHI: Double blow for Indian hockey. Two Former India hockey players M K Kaushik and Ravindra Pal Singh succumbed to COVID19, on Saturday. Both were members of the 1980 Moscow Olympics gold medal-winning side. Singh died early in the morning, and later in the day, Kaushik who was also the coach of the Indian hockey teams. Kaushik and Singh were a member of the 1980 Moscow Olympics goldmedal-winning Indian team. Kaushik had coached both the senior men and women's teams.
