NCB makes 20th arrest in cruise drugs bust case
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday made its 20th arrest in the cruise drug party case and arrested a Nigerian national from Goregaon. He is the second Nigerian arrested in the case. NCB Mumbai is trying to explore the foreign linkages of the case based on interrogation of all accused persons, officials said on Sunday.
"A team of NCB had mounted surveillance near a public place at Goregaon and intercepted a Nigerian national Okaro Ouzama along with an intermediate quantity of cocaine," said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of Mumbai NCB.
On October 07, NCB had arrested Nigerian national Chinedu Igwe from Andheri and claimed that 40 cocaine tablets were found in his possession.
A 22-member team headed by Wankhede on October 2 conducted a clandestine raid in the mid-sea on information that drugs were being used in a cruise party.
