Mend ways or split ‘Cong churning must throw up nectar of change’

-

(October 9) discusses the past and present of the Congress party without mincing words but where the party is sustained on the fallacy of legacy (that is why Sonia Gandhi is at helm of the party) one can’t imagine change will take place swiftly. Inducting Kanhaiya Kumar is just a gimmick, as he will not be given any power to change the line of work. It is a fact that Rahul Gandhi couldn’t prove his mettle as the party president and willingly stepped down. Yet, Sonia Gandhi wants to make him president, betraying the attitude of considering the party as a family possession, which is not the fact. Now the so-called G-23 should come forward with change and establish it even if the so-called high command doesn’t like it, Or the bifurcation of Congress is inevitable and it is best to face it bravely.
