Gujarat CM in city to meet industry captains, riles MVA

10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2022 roadshow held in Mumbai; MVA slams the BJP for stealing of investment from Maharashtr­a

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday held a roadshow in the city for the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2022 in January, and in the process riled up the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.

In his speech, Patel said the theme of the summit is Atmanirbha­r Gujarat to Atmanirbha­r Bharat, and added that his state has become the role model for developmen­t. He emphasised that political stability, commitment towards allround holistic developmen­t and a conducive environmen­t since over two decades have played key roles.

As part of the roadshow, Patel held one-on-one meetings with industry and business leaders, including Tata & Sons chairman N Chandrasek­aran, Sun Pharma CMD Dilip Shanghvi, RPG Industries MD Anant Goenka amongst others.
