Jet Airways in talks to buy 100 narrow-body aircraft for $12 billion

Jet Airways (India) Ltd is in talks with US-based Boeing and Netherlands-based Airbus to buy 100 narrow-body aircraft at an estimated order value of $12 bln, ET Now reported today. Recently, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia had said Jet Airways would make a comeback to the Indian skies next year. At 1255 IST, shares of Jet Airways were down 0.8% at 81.3 rupees on the National Stock Exchange.
