Kotak Mahindra Bank partners with Worldline for EMIs on debit cards

Kotak Mahindra Bank has partnered with Worldline, a European payment and transactio­nal service, to enable equated monthly instalment payments through its debit cards in India. This partnershi­p will help over 5 mln eligible debit card customers to pay for their purchases in using the bank's credit cards through the Worldline point-of-sale terminals, the private sector bank said in a release today. The minimum purchase value to avail of EMIs on the bank's debit cards facility is 5,000 rupees, and customers can repay the loan over tenures between three months and 12 months.
