A K Tiwari takes over as Member, PNGRB

MUMBAI: Shri Anjani Kumar Tiwari has assumed the charge as Member, PNGRB. Before joining Member, PNGRB, Shri Tiwari worked in GAIL (India) Limited and as Director (Finance). He held the position of Director in GAIL Gas Ltd., Green Gas Ltd., Bhagyanagar Gas Ltd, GAIL Gas (USA) Inc., and GAIL Global (USA) LNG LLC.

Shri Tiwari has over 38 year of varied experience under complex business environment in OIL & Gas, Thermal Power, Hydel Power and City Gas Distribution sector. He did his graduation from Kolkata University and ICWA from Institute of Cost Accounts of India.

He was involved in transformation of finance function to align with the overall company strategy and make revolutionary changes into financial function, associated processes, internal controls and financial reporting. He was involved in finalization of GAIL Strategy 2030 which focused on diversification and growth of Natural Gas Sector as well as Renewables. He spearheaded and guided the Company towards Succession planning and Capability Building, Safe & Sustain operations. He played a pivotal role for GAIL digital initiatives to derive maximum value for its product lines. Shri Tiwari has participated in many successful negotiations of various Long Term Gas Supply / Purchase Agreements as well as LNG Infrastructure agreements.
